Our Program: How it Works
At SoundLife, we see the Musical Journey as more than just learning how to play an instrument. We break it down into five basic stages, which correspond to the programs we offer. From building initial skills all the way to inspiring others by sharing those skills, our Five Stage Program represents a well-rounded and fully engaging musical education that encompasses the total experience. With this approach we can tailor the program to each and every individual student’s experience level, regardless of where they may be in their own personal musical journey.
Private In-Home Lessons
For Building Skills, we recommend you start with our private in-home lessons. These are the types of lessons we offer:
Your next choice will be between Lesson Packages and Monthly Billing. Lesson Packages are in groups of 4 lessons, and they can vary in length. Monthly Billing offers additional value through the inclusion of showcases, jam sessions, a free lesson in longer months, and other great benefits to deepen your learning.
Band Coaching
Band Packages
Members: $240 per person / per package
Non-Members: $300 per person / per package
4 rehearsals per package
Rehearsal Details
- Two hours in duration
- Top-notch rehearsal studios selected based on the locations of each band member
- Expert Coaches with professional touring experience
- Access to supplemental Session Musicians
- Rented facilities include a drum set, amplifiers, and a full PA system
Additional Information
- Membership requires maintaining an active lesson package at SoundLife Music Academy.
- All music students are welcome. We ask that Non-Members participating in Band Coaching maintain outside private instruction.
Showcases
Perform in a Showcase
Members: $110 per performer
Non-Members: $149 per performer
Benefits
- Live videography, photography, audio recording, live sound engineering
- Unlimited free tickets for friends and family
- Venue rental
- All performers receive an edited and mixed performance video along with rockstar photos
Additional Information
- Membership requires maintaining an active lesson package at SoundLife Music Academy.
- All music students are welcome. We ask that Non-Members participating in Showcases maintain outside private instruction.
Perform with our House Band
Members: $82 per performer
Non-Members: $99 per performer
All performers also have the opportunity to participate in our Showcases with our house band of professional Los Angeles Session Musicians. Performers can choose any song (up to 2) and our house band will learn and perform their selection alongside them. This opportunity is an additional charge that includes a designated rehearsal time, chart creation, and professional musical direction.
