Congratulations to Lenna on being selected as our May Student of the Month!

Since joining SoundLife in September 2021, Lenna has grown into a remarkable pianist with a passion for both classical and pop music. Splitting her lesson time between the elegance of Bach and Beethoven and the catchy melodies of Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo, Lenna has found her voice across genres.

Over the years, Lenna has lit up our Showcases with performances that reflect her wide-ranging musical taste. From delicate classical miniatures to dynamic pop hits, she continues to impress us with her versatility and dedication.

Earlier this year, Lenna shared with her instructor that she had been asked to perform for family over the holidays. Although honored, she felt a bit disappointed that she couldn’t recall all of her favorite pieces. Inspired by this moment, Lenna set a powerful new goal: to build a repertoire of songs—both classical and pop—that she could play anytime, anywhere. Together with her instructor, she worked to simplify some of her classical selections and expand her pop arrangements into fuller versions.

Now, just a few months later, Lenna is preparing to take the stage at our upcoming Showcase with confidence and joy. She’ll be performing three short classical pieces and one pop favorite, all of which she can now perform at the drop of a hat—perfect for any family gathering or spontaneous living room concert.
